Refund and Cancellation Policy

At Ever & Essence, we are committed to ensuring your satisfaction with every purchase. Please carefully review your order before completing your purchase, as we aim to minimize returns and cancellations.

Returns & Refunds:

We offer a 14-day return window from the date you receive your order.

To be eligible for a return or refund, products must be in their original, unused condition and in the original packaging.

Products returned must be in a resellable condition. Any items that are damaged, used, or altered will not be refunded or exchanged and will be returned to the customer at their cost.

Damaged or Defective Items:

At Ever & Essence, we take great care to ensure that all our gifts are sent in perfect condition. All items are carefully inspected and securely packaged before dispatch.

If your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us immediately with clear photos of the product and packaging.

Claims for damaged or defective items must be made within 24 hours of receiving the product. As all items are carefully inspected before shipping, we believe any damage occurs during the shipping process.

We will assist you with a replacement or refund for damaged or defective items after assessment.

Non-Refundable Items:

The following items are non-refundable:

  • Personalized gifts (including engraved, custom items)

  • Opened chocolate boxes (due to hygiene reasons)

  • Perishable items (e.g., flowers, food)

  • Items that have been used, altered, or damaged by the customer

  • Gift cards and any products that are not suitable for return due to their nature

If non-refundable items are returned to us, they will not be refunded. They will be returned to the customer at their expense.

Return Process:

  1. Contact us at hello@everandessence.com within 14 days of receiving your order.

  2. Provide your order number and a reason for return.

  3. Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty or damaged upon arrival. In cases where the item is determined to be faulty or damaged, we will cover the return shipping costs.

  4. After approval, we will provide you with detailed return instructions, including the return address, packaging requirements, and next steps.

  5. The item must be returned in resellable condition (unused and undamaged). Any items returned with signs of use, wear, or damage will not be refunded.

Refund Process:

Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned item, provided the item is in its original, unused condition and packaging.

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Shipping fees (if applicable) are non-refundable.

We reserve the right to reject a refund if the item does not meet the eligibility criteria (e.g., used, damaged, non-returnable).

Order Cancellations:

We understand that sometimes plans change! If you need to cancel your order before it has been shipped, please notify us as soon as possible. We will process a full refund for cancellations made before shipment.

To cancel your order:

  1. Please email us at hello@everandessence.com as soon as possible.

  2. Include your order number and request for cancellation, and we will assist you with processing your request.

Cancellation Deadline:

Cancellations are only valid if requested before the order is shipped. Orders that have been dispatched cannot be canceled.

We aim to dispatch orders within 24 hours of purchase, so please contact us as soon as possible if you wish to cancel.

Return Shipping Costs:

  • Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer unless the item is damaged, defective, or incorrectly sent.

  • If you are returning an item due to a change of mind, you will be responsible for the cost of return shipping.

  • If the item is faulty or damaged upon arrival, we will cover the return shipping costs and arrange for a replacement or refund.

Fraudulent Return/Refund Prevention:

To prevent any misuse or fraudulent returns, we require that:

  • Returned items must be in their original condition with tags and packaging intact.

  • We may refuse to accept returns from customers who habitually return items, especially if there is a pattern of purchasing items with the intent of returning them after use.

  • If you return a product that does not meet our criteria, it will be returned to you at your own expense, and no refund will be issued.
